May 20, 2013 was a devastating day for the people of Moore, Oklahoma. Not only were houses and cars discarded but lives were lost.
We the people of Oklahoma need to know that we have a safe place to go. Therefore Storm shelters need to be built around the city.
Oklahoma City does not have one storm shelter facility and with the effects of what happened May 20, things need to change.
More lives will be saved.
We, the citizens of Oklahoma City and surrounding areas petition the city to develop community storm shelters in schools and neighborhoods or a safe zone to help protect those in need of shelter against tornadoes.
