Gary Gray has attempted to get a new liquor license from Brady Township. Because Mr. Gray is also in the Village of Vicksburg a PA 425 agremment was made up between Brady Township and the Village of Vicksburg.
The MLCC had refused the license because the Village of Vicksburg already has its quota of licenses.
Therefore Gary Gray needs to detach his property on Spruce Street in the Village of Vicksburg, from the Village and that the property should have jurisdiction only in Brady Township.
We, the undersigned, call on the Kalamazoo Board of Commissioners to allow this request for "detachment from the Village" of Vicksburg, MI., Mr. Gray's property on Spruce St, now in the Village of Vicksburg, Mi., in order to develop a restaurant at the above address.
This "detachment from the Village" will allow a liquor license to be obtained from Brady Township which has a license available.
