My older sister (Deborah Jacobson) was murdered .. at the age of 24. Her murderer is coming up for parole soon and I need to gather letters to keep him in prison. I need to know if you would be willing to write letters or sign this petition for me.

He killed her because she wanted to leave him. He shot her waited hours for her to die (ran errands) and then weighted her body down, wrapped her in a tarp and threw her off a Bridge. He threw away all her belongings and went to work for months as if nothing happened. He told people they got in a fight...she moved out and he did not know where she was. She came loose from the weights and was found by a fishing boat. She had to be identified with dental records.

He was well educated, from a stable family and had all the means and resources necessary to have a different outcome to this situation. He lied and said he shot her by accident...but forensics determined he shot her point blank in the back of head using a pillow to silence it. He tried to wipe her off the face of the earth.

Re: CDC E94734, Smith, John

Dear Parole Board Members:

Please include this letter in the personal file of John Smith. This letter is regarding John Smith’s parole hearing scheduled for January, 2017.

As a concerned citizen, I want to express my deep concern over Mr. Smith’s possible release from prison. Mr. Smith is in prison for murdering a young woman named Deborah Jacobson. Debbie was murdered at the age of 24.

Mr Smith killed her because she wanted to leave him. He shot her waited hours for her to die while he ran errands and then weighted her body down, wrapped her in a tarp and threw her off a bridge. He threw away all her belongings and went to work for months as if nothing happened. He told people they got in a fight she moved out, and he did not know where she was. She came loose from the weights and was found by a fishing boat. She had to be identified with dental records.

He was well educated, from a stable family and had all the means and resources necessary to have a different outcome to this situation. He tried to wipe her off the face of the earth.

Our community lost a talented, promising soul when Deborah was taken so young. Deborah lived in the Solano County area her entire life and her family members are long time residents as well.

Mr. Smith had no motive or reason to kill Deborah. Mr. Smith’s extreme, unprovoked act of violence against another human being leaves me deeply disturbed. The possible return of Mr. Smith to our community or any community for that matter is deeply disturbing as well. I recognize the hostilities within Mr. Smith and anticipate this deep rooted aggression remains within him.

I petition the parole board to deny parole to John Christopher Smith.

Sincerely,
