In light of the recent incident in Merriwa where 3 children are being screened for potentially being exposed to blood borne diseases via infection from syringes discarded in the street, I would like to demand the Wanneroo Shire begins a clean up of all suburbs under the Shire. On numerous occasions I have spoken to the Shire regarding rubbish, unkempt shire gardens and general uncleanliness of the streets in the area. We pay enough in rates and something needs to be done! Please sign and share if you want the Wanneroo Shire to address the issue.
We the undersigned, call on the Shire of Wanneroo in Perth Western Australia, to address the litter in the streets, waterways and public places of all suburbs in the city of Wanneroo. We call on the city to put in place strategies and prevention policies to make our streets safe again with a 50% reduction by the end of the year.
