The 31st of October is the 10th Anniversary of the Bitcoin Whitepaper written by a person or group named 'Satoshi Nakamoto' ! Bitcoin is the world's first decentralized currency. Bitcoin and gold have much in common. Both are limited in supply (only 21 million Bitcoins) and mined for profit. It’s unsurprising that Bitcoin is sometimes called the “digital gold”.
Currently, there are almost 22 million bitcoin wallets according to data compiled by Bitinfocharts.com
Like an absent God watching from afar, the enigmatic Satoshi left the world a brilliant vision and the code to build it, at a time when the world was reeling from financial crisis after financial crisis. Bitcoin — has become a global currency that has the potential to change the world of economics and finance forever. I believe Satoshi is no less relevant than Christopher Columbus, and we do have a Columbus day.
We, the undersigned, call on the UNESCO to declare the 31st of October the International Satoshi Day in honor of Satoshi Nakamoto.
