Frankie Vidal, James Roberts, Austin Blake, and now Justin Schjoth. These are just a few people who have been hit on Victor Ave. Three of them have died. All of them were an under the age of 18.
Due to poor lighting, lack of cross walks, and the fact that the speed limit is so high, not only in a residential area but a children's park, we are gathering up signatures to get Victor ave. safer for pedestrians and drivers.
We petition The City of Redding, Ca to implement improvements to Victor Ave. by upgrading and adding pedestrian cross walks, additional lights, and additional sidewalks to the west side of the street and a speed limit reduction.
Improvements should cover the span between Enterprise Community Park to the north end of Bramble Street.
