Electronic Software Rating Board
United States of America

Many games rated by the ESRB have been given a Teen or Mature Rating due to graphics, although the content of the game is fit for a younger audience.

Creating two new ratings, between Everyone and Teen and Teen and Mature would increase knowledge of the video game content. One example of this sort of game is Super Smash Bros. Melee for Nintendo GameCube. The sequel to E-rated Super Smash Bros. was rated T in 2001, because of more realistic graphics.
