On July 18, 2013 at 11:30 pm, Jesus "Jesse" Aguilar at 26, was heading wb on 91 fwy, east of AR-57, riding his Kawasaki Ninja when he went down. According to witnesses, all cars were able to stop but as Jesse was getting up a Honda struck him, killing him instantly.
The driver of the Honda waited at the scene for just a few minutes before speeding off. Jesse's Death Certificate states under Cause of Death, "Multiple Traumatic Injuries" and "Blunt Force Trauma", which was a direct result of being struck by vehicle; however, under Description of How Injury Occurred, it ONLY states "Operator of Motorcycle, Out of control" and nothing about the vehicle which directly caused his death.
Coroner stated if he was not hit by car, he would have sustained a broken hip but would have survived. His death certificate should reflect facts of this crime and adhere to Laws.
We, the undersigned, hereby request OC Coroner Mitchell Sigal, correct Death Certificate of Jesus Andrew Aguilar, to reflect FACTS of this crime.
