In memory, honor and recognition of the professional service, leadership and humanitarian efforts demonstrated by Retired Police Corporal Barry Beam, ID#847 we petition the Prince George's County, Maryland Government and its Police Department to rename the Prince George's County Police Headquarters Multi-Purpose Room where Police Graduations and other important community events are hosted as the "Police Corporal Barry Beam Community Room."
Given his leadership and professionalism in leading multiple Sessions and Classes while assigned as an Instructor and Class Coordinator at the Prince George's Police Academy it is appropriate and fitting.
