Buses for Jurby
As from the 6th of April, the hourly bus service will stop and the "Connect Village" service will replace it. This means that if you want a bus in or out of Jurby, then you will have to ring 24hrs in advance. Jurby has a high proportion of people who do not have their own transport, who rely on the bus to get them out and about.

This is going to encourage further isolation, additional expense of taxis for 'last minute' journeys (when you book it isn't a free phone number either!), and additional car / taxi journey's when the IOM should be encouraging MORE public transport not less!!!

please sign the petition, to abolish this idea!

We, the undersigned call on the Minister for Infrastructure and his Department Member to intervene to stop the launch of the Connect villages scheme and maintain the current bus schedule.
