Since the year 1975 the Indian Space Research Organisation / Department of Space[DOS] has been cheating the nationwide SCs and STs people by not complying with the orders on reservations to SCs and STs in the direct recruitment to the Class-I Scientific & Technical posts required to carry out non Research & Development works.
Due to 10 years continuous struggle, now the Hon'ble National Commission for SCs, NewDelhi, vide its letter, dated 05.08.2013, has recommended the DOS to appoint a Committee to take necessary actions to implement the existing orders[ Dept. of Administrative Reforms O.M. No.9/2/73-Esst.(SCT), dated 23.06.1975] on reservations to SCs and STs applicable to the DOS and to send the action taken report to the National Commission.
But the DOS is neglecting to obey the instructions of the Hon'ble National Commission for SCs, NewDelhi, evnafter more than 60 days elapsed. Hence we require a mass urge on the DOS to take actions promptly on the instructions of the Hon'ble National Commission for SCs, NewDelhi, by widely publicizing this matter all India level among the comrades interested in the prompt implementation of orders on reservations to SCs and STs. Please shoulder to this effort suitably.

We, the undersigned, call on the Department of Space, Bangalore, to constitute the Committee as recommended by the Hon'ble National Commission for SCs, NewDelhi, vide its letter dated 05/08/2013, to find the ways and means to promptly implement the orders on reservations to SCs and STs applicable to ISRO/DOS in the direct recruitment to the Class-I S&T posts required to carry out various non R&D works in accordance with the existing orders of the Dept. of Administrative Reforms O.M. No.9/2/73-Esst.(SCT), dated 23.06.1975.
