County Commissioners of Robeson County are the 4th highest paid in the State of NC. They receive stipends, salaries, health insurance, travel pay etc... Robeson County is one of the poorest counties in the state.
They are not held accountable for their use of tax payer dollars. Not to mention their individual salaries and discretionary funds.
As Citizens we need to stop them from laughing all the way to the bank.
Our intent is an open forum where the people can receive answers to questions that have been proposed in open media and are centered around their salary/stipend, use of discretionary funds and lack of accountability.
Folks, we need checks and balances within the county commissioner system.

We, the Communities in Robeson County want the Commissioners to be held accountable for their use of our tax dollars. Their individual outrageous salaries/stipend, discretionary funds etc..., where is the money going and who has oversight of the County Commissioners.
The taxpayers have a right to know where the dollars are being spent.
Robeson County Citizens if you agree that the Commissioners should have term limits and all tax dollars accounted for sign this petition.
