Councils across the UK are already collecting rubbish fortnightly or plan to do so in the near future. This constitutes a health hazard.
This petition seeks to get back to the way its been for years, that is a weekly collection service.
We, the undersigned council tax payers, do not agree with the decision to implement fortnightly rubbish collections and do not relish the multiplication of rats, flies, maggots, germs, bacteria, disease, smells and other unpleasantness caused by this action and demand that the councils revert back to a weekly collection service.
