Due to the years of violence, drugs, homicides and loitering 950 Copley Rd. serves NO GOOD to the surrounding community in the City of Akron and should be closed immediately. This establishment has not benefited the surrounding community nor has it taken any responsibility for the years of loitering, violence and homicides that have occurred on their property.
History: Mr. Pantry/ Open Pantry was once a pillar neighborhood store that was patronized by everyone in the community. In the 80's and 90's it was the first stop on the way to school and after school. Today it is riddled with violence, drugs fights and even homicides. The pillar neighborhood store is no more and something has to be done to stop the violence at 950 Copley Rd.
Due to the years of violence, drugs, homicides and loitering at 950 Copley Rd., it is obvious to the community that Mr. Pantry/ Open Pantry serves NO GOOD to the surrounding community nor in the City of Akron and, should be closed immediately. This establishment has not benefited the community in years nor has taken any responsibility for the years of loitering, violence and homicides that have occurred on their property and place of business.
Petitions will be presented to Akron City Council and the Mayor's office after signatures have been gathered.
