Esophageal Cancer is the fastest rising cancer in the United States today, with that being said very few people know anything about it. Did you know that something so simple such as heart burn could cause Esophageal Cancer?
Esophageal Cancer is being diagnosed in all different age groups. Christopher Bloom was a healthy 22 year old, volunteer fire fighter, showing no signs that he had cancer, until it was too late. In 2009 Chris was diagnosed at Stage 4, he was in for the fight of his life and like many people, up until that point, I never heard of Esophageal Cancer.
Chris put up a brave fight for 6 long months before loosing his battle at only 23 years old. No body should have to go through what Chris went through.
We have signed this petition so that April will be acknowledged as Esophageal Cancer Awareness Month.
