For the past 5 years the Iota Epsilon petitioning group of Alpha Phi Omega has been diligently working to regain their charter. The petitioning group has met all of the prerequisites required by nationals.
On Sunday August 3, 2014 the decision was made by the national office to end the groups efforts to become an active chapter due to the regional directors beliefs that the petitioning group is not ready to regain active status even though they already function as a chapter.
