Following our recent post on channel 5 coming to Bridlington to film about living on benefits this has caused quite a reaction from the community and so we have decided to do an online petition which we will be sending to channel 5. We do not want a documentary to be a misrepresentation of what Bridlington is really about.

We the Bridlington community are opposed to channel 5 making a documentary about living on benefits in Bridlington as we feel this we will have an adverse effect on our community and our tourism.
A documentary about Bridlington should only be done to show how great our town is and what we can offer to the public as a holiday destination.
