For change of how the social security administration words disability benefits. For people who recieved benefits while they were children and are still receiving them as adults (Disabled Adult Child Benefits). That is how it is worded now, so that disabled people who receives a benefit check like that. They can't get married or their benefits will be terminated.
I have eight children with my fiancee. And we were told several years back that we can't get married or he would lose his benefits. We have been together for 15 years and want to make things right. But can't afford to do so without his benefits.
We the undersigned, call on the Social Security Administration to change the law so people can get married without losing their benefits.
