This is a petition for you to show support for University of Nevada basketball coach Mark Fox. He has done an excellent job in establishing this basketball program as one of the elite in the nation, and the future has never looked brighter.
He is a coach with the capabilities of coaching at any level he chooses, and this community is fortunate to have him on the sidelines. As a disclaimer, we do not realistically expect Coach Fox to legally change his name, even though we believe it would be more appropriate. This petition is more of a sign of appreciation for all of his efforts.
We, the undersigned, call on the attention of coach Mark Fox to change his name to Mark Wolf. Your name is a staplepoint for this program, University, and the community.
We, the undersigned, feel it is more appropriate for your name to coincide with the Wolf Pack, which you have helped place in the company of the elite basketball programs in the nation. We thank you for your unchallenged dedication to the development of this program; and most importantly to helping the student-athletes who proudly wear the silver and blue succeed on & off the court.
