Roy City Council are meeting Tuesday June 20, 2017 to pass the rezoning from R-1-10 Single Family Residential to CC Community Commercial to allow - Murphy's Soap and Suds Carwash, along with 2 story office building on the corner of 5455 South 4300 West which is currently a home and large horse property and farm land located to the North.
EVERYONE located in Hooper and Roy that use 5500 South or 4300 West roadway will be impacted! These are all the main roadways to access Freedom Elementary, Rocky Mountain Junior High, Kents Market all surrounding businesses. There are plenty of Carwash's locally, and plenty of office space available around this area. The roadways are unable to support the residential area and growth as-is. We need your support, all neighboring land owners were unanimous with voicing their impact with property values and quality of living but Roy city still passed the preliminary request.

We the people believe the current zoning of Residential fits the area and protects our quality of life and land values. Constitutional rights are being violate - the right to the active use of his property provided that his use does not violate the right of others to the quiet enjoyment of their property.
