The Michigan Medical Marihuna Act of 2008 was a popular vote initiative expressing people's will to enact sensible policies for cannabis reform. This act was overwhelmingly approved and by the highest percentage of any popular vote initiative in Michigan’s history at 63%. After many years of confusion by both patients and law enforcement, Michigan lawmakers realized the need to create a new highly regulated system, focused on compliance and accountability.

In November of 2016, a series of bills were signed into law allowing for the commercial cultivation of cannabis for medical purposes. We now acknowledge this legislation as the Medical Marihuana Facilities Licensing Act, formerly known as House bill 4209.

42° seeks to serve a growing population of qualifying patients who are in need of safe access to medical cannabis. We strive to serve separately licensed provisioning centers based in the surrounding area to fill patient's needs.

We are presenting this proposal because we know there is a robust population in search of an alternative means to healthcare. We are pursuing to work with the township to create a sensible policy that enables us to serve the needs of our fellow community members, however, confines the areas zoning as to not open “Pandora’s Box.”

If approved, the proposed facility will possess a production capacity sufficient to service the surrounding communities. We aim to provide patients with a pharmaceutically pure line of raw and processed cannabis based assortments that aim to alleviate condition specific symptoms. Please help our initiative serve patients across the state by signing this petition below.
