The Petition had not been published for the public in order to be signed. I changed my mind because I found it useless to address the USA Government with this petition as the latter did not see or hear or respond to previous similar petitions.
The USA has imposed economic sanctions on the government of Sudan since November 3, 1997.

The USA continued in application and renewal of that policy till today on false allegations of terrorism which the Government of Sudan is harboring.
If the USA's allegations are valid, the said sanctions have severely affected the people of Sudan and not the Government of Sudan and have resulted in deprivation of the people from their rights in development, health and interaction with the world communities.
According to the USA government U.S. policy on Sudan aims to achieve an end to conflict and gross human rights abuses and to ensure that Sudan does not harbor international terrorists.
However, the policy of the USA government has never gave any attention to the sufferings of the ordinary Sudanese citizen who suffers everyday from these unfair sanctions which created a lot of sorrows and hindered the progress of the Sudanese people who fled their country and sought refuge in other countries, including the USA, in search of dignified life.
Many Sudanese who are domiciled abroad are dreaming to return to their country and contribute in its development but the USA sanctions have slammed the door in their faces.
The USA government has blocked for example any support to the country in respect of civil airplanes' spare parts which led to reported cases of crashes of planes. The USA policy of sanctions has deprived the Sudanese youths from being enlightened with the new technologies and the products of leading companies whether in the field of IT or industry.
The USA policy has deprived the ordinary people from using the trains that had been imported from the USA for use inside Sudan as the said policy has blocked any exports of locomotives and their spare parts which led
to complete collapse in this sector.
The USA policy has prevented USA companies from working or investing in Sudan and this policy hindered the country's progress without cause. The sanctions have deprived Sudan from getting assistance and finance from international institutions and to get advanced technologies in all fields.
The USA has vigorously continued in imposing the said sanctions which hindered the construction of many projects that could have served the local communities and the people .
In fact the continuation of the said sanctions since 1997 for sixteen years constitutes serious violation of the human rights of the people of Sudan without any justification. The Sudanese people call their friends among the people of USA to press their government in order to abolish this hostile policy which the USA vigorously adopts against the Sudanese people . The Sudanese people call any individual who has a sense of good conscience to protest against this destructive policy of sanctions which the USA government adopts against the people of Sudan.
We the undersigned call on the USA government to end its sanction policy on the Republic of Sudan which has affected the ordinary people.
