Recently we have seen a significant increase in the number of Models & Photographers whose images have been FALSELY reported to Facebook for breaching their policies on "Nudity & Pornography"; resulting in perfectly acceptable images being removed and the user being temporarily suspended from posting! This system is currently automated by BOTS and Algorithms which evidently leaves it open to abuse by persons with malicious intent wishing to cause harm and disruption to certain page admins!
We are petitioning Facebook calling on them to take a “Reality Check” and review their current policies and reporting systems!

Nudity and Pornography
Facebook has a strict policy against the sharing of pornographic content and any explicitly sexual content where a minor is involved. We also impose limitations on the display of nudity. We aspire to respect people’s right to share content of personal importance, whether those are photos of a sculpture like Michelangelo's David or family photos of a child breastfeeding.
We DO NOT want to see Pornographic content on Facebook and welcome steps to remove such content, however we DO NOT want to see professions such as artists, models, photographers and the like forced to find an alternative platform for their work, when it is artistic and tasteful.
FACEBOOK please take note!
We, the undersigned, call on social network site FACEBOOK to re-define their policies on Nudity & Pornography; clarifying what is and isn't acceptable, as the current policy is too vague and open to abuse and mis-interpretation.
In addition, we ask Facebook to review their automated systems and algorithms controlling such content and images reported for violation of such policies, along with an option to dispute / flag decisions which are believed to be unfair, for review!
We believe the current system is being used to single out and bully Facebook page admins and profiles in an attempt to cause them harm and disruption; ultimately to get their page blocked or removed.
The current system is untenable and leaves facebook users / businesses in the position of being exposed to aforementioned risk or seek an alternative social media platform.
