Bring Ward's Back!

Brothers, Kenneth (wife Kathy) and Gary Don Ward opened Ward's Family Restaurant at 2655 Clarksville St in Paris, TX, almost 25 years ago in 1995. Gary Don later retired, and Ken and Kathy remained owners and active participants in the restaurant. Over the years, the employees and customers at Ward's became like family, and the restaurant became a staple in their lives. Many of the employees worked for Ken and Kathy for over a decade, including a few very special employees that are no longer with us today.

Tragically, on August 13, 2019, there was a structure fire at Ward's that caused significant damage. The restaurant was forced to close, and employees were left without jobs with no notice. Ken and Kathy were faced with the loss of their long-time family business they had worked so hard to build over the years.

Unfortunately, Ken and Kathy do not own the building, but have leased it since they opened. While they would love to reopen Ward's Restaurant and give back what we believe has become a staple of the Paris community after all of these years, they are not in the position to make that decision.
