Smithers has many businesses with quality products. Many products that are unavailable at Walmart. On the other hand, Walmart has many products unavailable on Smithers main street.
Walmart will create jobs in Smithers and surrounding areas, as well as making Smithers a more appealing shopping center.
We realize the concern for local small businesses, but feel there is as much need for those small businesses as there is for a Walmart. Walmart offers affordability, while the small shops on main street offer quality.
We feel Walmart would fit perfect in the town of Smithers.
We the people residing in Smithers and surrounding areas, call on the Smithers mayor and town council to allow Walmart into Smithers.
