Hello, I support Wolves and was very dissapointed with West Midlands police when they banned the playing of our anthem 'The Liquidator' stating that it increased tensions between rival supporters. This statement did nothing but dissapoint me, as the song gave the Wolves team a massive advantage when running out before the game.
It is very intimidating for teams that Wolves are playing against and doesn't incite violence. I believe if the song was brought back for the rest of the home games this season, it would give Wolves a massive advantage in the promotion race. If the song incites violence fair enough, ban it but I never saw anything like this when the song was played before it was banned. Please sign below and get the song reinstated.
I call on West Midlands police to revoke their ban on the playing of the liquidator at Molineux, and for the Wolverhampton Wanderers board to do the same.
