I have created a group on Facebook called 'Bring A Primark To Newmarket' i have gained over 1500 members in just a few days.
Newmarket used to be a busy, popular place to shop, but now it is over run with phone shops and Book makers, the community that have joined my group, all agree that a Primark is well needed in our town, people will travel 15-20 miles to go shopping, as there is nothing in newmarket for us.
A primark would offer many benefits for our town, not just a place to shop, but it would offer more jobs and make Newmarket a busier place, and bring in more people.
As a town we feel passionate about this, and really just want to be heard.
On behalf of the community of Newmarket, we would like a Primark in our town, we think it would benefit the town in many ways.
No more phone shops or bookies, please cater for our needs.
