The Fresno Monsters hosted a set of three home games on Feb. 15-17 at the historic Selland Arena in Fresno,CA as a test to see if hockey could be a viable entertainment option once again available to the residents of the Fresno/Clovis area.
The three game event went on to become a great success with an average crowd attendance of over 3,000.
The Fresno Monsters now seek to return full time to Selland Arena for their upcoming 2018-19' season where they will play 16 regular season home games and be host to potential playoff games.
Returning hockey to downtown Fresno will generate a positive economic impact, elevate our City's status in the sports industry, and provide a highly demanded entertainment offering to residents of all races, economic backgrounds, and geographic corners of our world-class city.
We, the undersigned group, agree that hockey should return to Selland Arena in Fresno, CA starting with the Fresno Monsters 2018-19' season.
