On the 18 September 2017 our Station Commissioner was suspended aling with 13 of his senior members of staff for 15 guns that went missing from the station.
A bigger amount of guns went missing from SAPS Bellville South about the same time and NO ONE WAS SUSPENDED from that station. Why the Inconsistencies?
The SAPS leadership has not given ANY feedback on the case and the community demands clarity and a speedy hearing.
We need and want our leader back. We need answers.
We, the Community of Mitchell's Plain in conjunction with the committee of Return Brigadier Cass Goolam hereby call on all South Africans to sign our petition to have our Station Commissioner returned to his post.
His suspension has NEGATIVELY impacted crime in our area and without him in charge gangs are taking advantage.
We need our leader who has developed strong relationships with community and constructed effective systems to police our precinct.
