Ards Fc are a progressive football club in the town of Newtownards. They currently play their football in the Championship in Northern Ireland.They share their football with Bangor Fc their neighbours. There's been a campaign and many promises made by the council to give them land to build a ground and for some reason thry fall through. The football club deserve the right to play in their home town since their old ground Castlereagh Park was demolished.
They are an old football club with a great tradition and I've many memories of the old days at Castlereagh Park and for goodness sake wud the council stop fudging and give the great fanbase of this club a ground to play their football on.
History wont tolerate the council in failing to give the Ards FC supporters who are ratepayers yhe oppurtunity to bring football back to the town.
I want a bit of common sense shown by the council and do your duty for these long suffering fans.
BRING FOOTBALL BACK TO NEWTOWNARDS. I WOULD URGE SUPPORTERS OF THE GAME WE LOVE FROM ALL OVER FOOTBALL HERE TO SUPPORT THIS PETITION AND SIGN IT TO GET THIS OLD CLUB BACK TO A STADIUM IN THE TOWN WHERE THEY BELONG.
IT'S TIME FOR THE COUNCIL TO STEP IN AND DO WHAT'S RIGHT TO GIVE THE FANS WHAT THEY WANT.
