In the 1990's, every child had to have Yikes pencils: they were colored rather than bland brown on the inside and had interesting packaging and erasers.
These pencils are now sold for over $40 on e-bay and are too expensive to be used.
An entire generation of North American children are growing up without Yikes pencils.
We, the undersigned, Call on Papermate/Berol to re-issue YIKES pencils, as the pencils are an important part of North American culture and were loved by an entire generation of children who have now grown up and wish to share the pencils with their own children.
