From 1964 to 2006 Top of the pops was and arguably still is the best show on television to show case the latest music charts.
It was axed in 2006 due to apparent loss of viewers, but the show had been moved about so much that no one knew where it was on the schedule.
We petition the BBC to rightfully bring our show back, with a fresh new look, and simple format, of good presenters, great performances from all genres of music and one music video with no repeat performances. Maybe specials as the shows end with artists performing versions of other chart songs?
As the culture secretary and several current bands, there is a gap in the market for a well known brand like TOTP to return.
