Back in the day, the night before the gala day, we always had a pram race. The streets were lined with supporters who cheered on the race. The best one won a prize and was included in the parade in the procession.
There hasn't been a pram race for many years now and people have been voicing their wishes to see it return.
So hopefully we might just be able to at least get "those in the know" to think of allowing it to return.
Please bring back the pram race to be included in the Broxburn gala week.
