In 1996 Electric Cars began to appear on roads all over California. They were quiet and fast, produced no exhaust and ran without gasoline.
10 years later these cars disappeared........
100 years ago there were more Electric Cars on the road than gas.
The Deepwater Horizon Explosion oil gusher disaster in the Gulf of Mexico; loss of human life; death of wildlife; toxic chemical exposure; sickness; depleted natural resources; unrest in the middle east; loss of jobs; fighting; war.
There is an alternative.
Bring back the Electric Car.
We, the undersigned, call on General Motors to bring back the Electric Car, EV1.
We, the undsigned, call on General Motors to replace 50% of it's gasoline fueled car fleet by replacing that 50% with the Electric Car EV1 and making the EV1 available for public purchase in every major U.S. city by 2014.
We, the undersigned, support General Motors in doing the right thing now, and for future generations.
Bring back our way of life and make us proud once again to be United States of America citizens.
