After 2 World Series Championships 1 of which ending an 86-year drought, the Boston Red Sox essentially ran the best manager in franchise history out of town after last Septembers collapse down the stretch.
The team owners not only turned their back on this man, but they drug his name through the mud. Since Terry Francona's departure from Boston, the Red Sox have hired Bobby Valentine to manage the team.
Bobby V has no place in the Red Sox dug out and should be back as an analyst at ESPN.
My petition, should you chose to sign it is for Red Sox management to publicly apologize to Terry Francona, admit their epic mistake and beg him to come back and manage the team.
Should Terry forgive the team that turned their back on him, the Red Sox should make him the highest paid manager in baseball history!
