Family Matters was a high grossing show on ABC that lasted nine whole seasons, from 1989 to 1998. It became so popular that its titular character, Steven Q Urkel, would spawn his own merchandise, including his own cereal, Urkel Os and a Steve Urkel talking doll. For a lot of Millenials, it brings back fond childhood memories of sitting home on Friday nights and watching America's favorite nerd vie for the affection of his neighbor Laura Winslow and annoy the pants off of Laura's dad, Carl Winslow, not to mention Laura's brother, Eddie Winslow, and a whole cast of other characters, who were all beloved in their own unique ways. Sadly, the series ended just short of it's finale but its memory and not to mention reruns cotinue to air.

Were you a fan of Family Matters? Did you ever wonder what happened to Steve Urkel and Laura Winslow? Did they get married, like they were going to? Did they ever have kids? How about Carl and Harriette Winslow? What ever happened to them? What about Eddie Winslow, is he fighting crime on the tough streets of Chicago, like his father Carl Winslow did? What happened to the rest of the gang? With a slew of 90's sitcoms being brought back to life, like the very popular Netflix series, Fuller House, who's predescessor, Full House, let's not forget, starred along side Family Matters ( and Step By Step) as part of ABC's TGIF line up, or the Disney show, Girl Meets World, it's predessescor being Boy Meets World, and the just recently ressurected Will & Grace, why not add Family Matters to the mix? That's why I am asking everyone to sign this petition urging ABC to bring back Family Matters and answer those questions which plauge everyone's minds who were fans of the show.
