Bring Back Dee Bliss (Madeleine West) | Neighbours

In 2003, after being married for a mere few hours, Toadie & Dee's car flew off a cliff into the ocean, and Dee was never to be seen again.

When her body was never found, she was presumed dead and Toadie finally managed to move on. However, Neighbours has shown that if your body was never seen, you are possibly not dead. In 1996, 5 years after he vanished off a cliff, Harold Bishop returned, looking very much alive, with amnesia and no recollection of his former life. In 2013, Mark Brennan made a surprise return after Toadie had discovered he had been murdered while in witness protection. This means Dee has the ability to return.

After years as friends, Dee and Toadie got together in 2002 and surprised all their neighbours by making the relationship work. After enduring many problems - mostly created by the jealous Darcy Tyler - Toadie finally won Dee back and soon proposed. Despite the interfering presence of Toadie's mother, Angie, during the wedding preparations, things went relatively smoothly, which was just as well, as Dee was on the verge of a breakdown by the time the big day arrived. The venue for the big day was Werribee Mansion and all of Toadie's family made it down for the event. The ceremony was beautiful and nobody could deny the couple the happiness that they deserved.

Toadie: I'm married to the most beautiful, loyal, and caring woman on earth. And we are surrounded by such loving friends and family too. I love you so much sweetheart, and you know me better than anyone ever has, and you love me for it - so thank you. I'm looking forward to every second of the rest of my life with you, Dee.

While no one can deny that Toadie and Sonya a perfect together (plus the fact they have the cutest baby ever), Toadie and Dee were a perfect couple and their story is not over yet.

In an interview with producer Jason Herbison, the question ' are there any plans to revisit the Dee storyline – is she really dead?', was asked.
Jason's response was: "That’s a question we ask ourselves at least once a year! The first challenge is getting the actress, Madeleine West, to come back. The second challenge is to find a way to do the story line that is very different to Harold’s return from the watery depths. But never say never."

While this is not a definite YES, it shows that Dee is always on their minds and that fans have the hope of Dee's return.
