Boycotting America tarishes the Olympic spirit!

Olympic games were created as peace keeping tool. It was said that all wars and conflicts should cease and all the parties to resolve their issues at the competitions. It its very sad that the spirit of the Olympic Games have been tarnished by several countries which conveniently tie politics to sports to suit their own political agenda.

Recently,Some lawmakers from these countries,namely the US,Britain,France and Germany,have used the TIbet issue and human rights as excuses to sabotage the Olympic Games.The US as the initiator, is initiating a propaganda campaign against China by politicising and weaponizing the Olympic event, part of Biden’s effort to be perceived as anti China hope to boost its plunging popularity or rating at home and rallying alliances and friends around the world to pivot toward the US.

Boycotting the Olympics is great injustice to the athletes. Athletes make huge sacrifices to get to where they are and have a small window of opportunity to compete in their lifetime. Taking their opportunity away for political reason is extremely selfish. Olympics is about the athletes, leave politics for another days.The action is mockery of democracy, outright violating the basic value of democratic majority consensus.

One watch sports at play at the Games but one does not watch or do counting which politician is missing or who is present at the game. One applaud for athletes’ performance not for who is present or who is missing.

Please keep in mind!This is a sports event. And only the Olympic sportsmen and -women are its heroes.In contrast, the Olympic Games never has a doggone thing to do with any Goddamn diplomat or official alive, still less any yet breathing from a land called the “US”.
