I would like to ask for support to amend the current by-laws regarding the type of fencing in Coventry Estates. Currently, only 3 types of wood for board-on-board fencing allowed in our subdivision.
I believe black aluminum fencing (similar to our subdivision entryway) would allow residents to have privacy as well as retain a nice clean, open look to the property and to the subdivision.
This is especially important on corner lots, where the village states board-on-board can only be 3 ft. tall, whereas if black aluminum was used, 4 ft. fencing is allowed.
We, the undersigned, call for a change in the convenance (by-laws) for Coventry Estates subdivision in Gurnee, IL to allow black aluminum fencing on residential property.
