It is time for the Habs and Habs Nation to move on from the failed Carey Price experiment.
Price has been a failure since 2007. The only real winners the Habs have had in the last decade have been Jose Theodore and Jaroslav Halak. They were consistent goaltenders.
Carey Price has demonstrated flashes of brilliance, but more often than not, inconsistent play, not game to game, but multiple times in the same period. He cannot be counted to make the save the team needs in the clutch. Last season, he demonstrated, again, in the last month, that he just doesn't cut the mustard.
So to not disappoint Habs nation too much, Habs management should get whatever draft pick possible for the man, and just get him out of a Habs uniform and out of Montreal.
It is our opinion that as long as Carey Price is a Hab, the Habs will never, ever come close to capturing Lord Stanley's mug again. It is time to move on. Do it now. Please save the season and trade the man.
