Trucks are causing major accidents on the M7 due to being unroadworthy, overloading, speeding and being inconsiderate. They are the major contributors to the poor state of the road as well. There should be a total ban or between certain peak traffic hours. For too long authorities are doing nothing and turning a blind eye while people's life's are at stake. Every time there is a accident someone's family is being ruined. Every time there is a accident it cost us rate payers more in taxes. There is alternatives like rail transport to get to the Harbour. Government need to do their jobs and intervene before another life is lost.
We the people of Queensburgh and surrounds are demanding for a total ban or ban during peak hours of trucks on the M7.
