State of Origin is the one part of Rugby League that has remained as successful and popular as it is for 25 years for many reasons. The speed, the level of skill, the passion and the fights (The Biff). Not only does the biff excite the game but it fuels the already intense passion that both teams feel.
By sending players off for getting involved in the biff it has the potential to ruin a great game that has thrived for decades, Shift the games momentum and essentially ruin the brand of rugby league state of origin. People love watching it.
There are worse things in the world than a fight in a football match.
We, the undersigned, call on the National Rugby League to eliminate the new ban on origin fights, resulting in players being sent to the sin bin.
