The issue that we have chosen is that animal testing should be banned. The reason that animal testing should be banned is that it violates animals' rights, it causes pain and suffering to the experimental animals. Before their deaths, some are forced to inhale toxic fumes, others are immobilized in restraint devices for hours, some have holes drilled into their skulls, and others have their skin burned off or their spinal cords crushed. They are confined to small cages, socially isolated, and psychologically traumatised. Animal testing is unethical.
We, call on the National Institutes of Health to ban animal testing. . Animal testing is unethical. It is unethical to sentence 100 million animals to life in a cage and intentionally cause them pain, loneliness, and fear. It is bad science. The national institutes show that 95 out of everyone 100 drugs that pass animal tests fail in humans. Animal testing is also wasteful. The results mislead the experimenters which then leads to a waste of money, time, and resources. NIH (National Institutes of Health) has said that $40 million has been budgeted in the research and development of Animal testing. There have been over 100 million animals are burned, Crippled, poisoned, and abused in the US labs every year.
