Ban ALL Religious Teaching From The Public School System

We, the undersigned, call on the Australian Government to ban ALL religious teaching, from our Public school System.

I dont beleive I will see this planet free of religion, in my life time, but i can dream.The words of John Lennon ring true even today. Iimagine all the people, living in peace" Without the "my God is bigger that your God" mentality ,we may even have a world free of war.

Everyday the media reports more and more death, and misery, with a lot of this, based in Religion.
9/11, The Gaza strip, the West Bank, it all speaks for itself.

A 27 yr old policeman was recently killed in a car bombing in Ireland, because he was Catholic. Maybe we havent seen the last of this one. If two sides of the same religion, Christianity, want to kill each other, then what hope have we got. Every year thousands of teenagers commit suicide because they dont fit the (religious) system.

Religion teaches us to hate, judge and be hypocrites, all in one sentence under the guise of what we "beleive" God or Allah wants. The worlds three major religions, started in the same place, around the same time, and it can be argued they are just "variations on a theme".

Take ALL religion out of our schools and let our kids be what they are, and all they can be, without the influenc of this 2000yr old rubbish.
