According to Mr. Danny Kennedy, Ballyholland Road doesn't need Speed Ramps as the route does not attract as high priority as similiar requests in the Newry District.
Cars are coming from Hilltown and Mayobridge to avoid the traffic in the town and speeding at 50/60mph. I've never seen anyone up doing an assessment of these two junctions. While there's a bus stop used on a Daily Basic this still doesnt slow them down.
Are we going to wait till a child gets killed before something is done?
Everyone please sign this Petition we NEED SPEED RAMPS in BallyHolland Area especially coming from BallyHolland Road with the traffic coming from Mayobridge throgh BallyHolland and at the Temple Hill Road Junction.
There is a 30 Mph speed limit but the drivers are doing at least 50/60 Mph. We need to get this sorted before a Child or Somebody is seriously hurt or KILLED.
