No longer are our students individuals, who are given equal opportunity to succeed; instead, they are regressed to a system where students are divided and told to view one another as part of an identity that is either oppressed or oppressing.
This content is ideology and crosses the line into familial principles that shouldn't be taught by teachers, particularly of minors, that may not align with family values. EWSD is adamant, without evidence, that the community at large supports the incorporation of this curriculum into our schools, though no legitimate vote has occurred.

We, the undersigned legal voters of Essex Westford School District, hereby petition the Essex Westford School District Board to add the following article(s) to the warning for the Essex Westford Schoool District Special Meeting to be held per 17 V.S.A. §2643(a) guidelines:
1. Shall the Essex Westford School District Board and Leadership Team remove Critical Race Theory (CRT), and any of its derivatives, directly or indirectly, from Essex Westford School District PreK-12th Grade Curriculum?
