May is ALS Awareness Month. During the month of May, we would like to encourage Nashville radio stations to play "Goodbye Lullaby", a song written and recorded by Nashville singer-songwriter Morgan Myles for my wife, Amy Adams Gowan, who died last year after a three year fight with ALS. Morgan gave Amy the song at the end of July, just two weeks before Amy passed away.

Morgan started helping Amy and me take care of our kids, Catherine and Will, in 2010, shortly after Amy's diagnosis. "Goodbye Lullaby" was inspired by things that Amy said to Catherine and Will every night at bedtime in the months before she died. You can hear and watch a video of the song at this link:
