Support Aquatic Fitness Classes - Joe Brown Park

We, the Aquatic Fitness members, are dismayed at the New Orleans Recreation Development Commission (NORDC), decision to cancel the 8 am. Aquatic Fitness class at the Joe Brown Park location, this Fall.

Our membership has continued to grow to the point we need an extra class, preferably a 10 am. class. The 8 am. class consist of New Orleans East residents who are early risers, retirees and shift workers. Currently, the class is of mixed ability. However, offering 10 am. class would allow instructors to offer a Beginners and an Intermediate Level Class.

We are asking New Orleans Recreation Development Commission to reconsider their decision based on the need of the community serviced by Joe Brown Park.

We are also asking that you keep our 8 am. Aquatic Fitness class and consider offering a 10 am. class.
