Anti-Agito x Yayoi Petition

So, I've been a HUGE fan of Air Gear since the day it came out in Japan, and I've followed it every week up until now, and I find I'm slowly losing faith in Oh! Great.

**Manga Spoilers Ahead**

See, I'm a firm believer in set pairings early on in the series, and I find that Oh! Great has recently thrown a pairing into the open with practically nothing to support it from previous chapters. He's rushing to develop it, too, which is horrible.

My issue, not that anyone cares, is the fact that he's pairing up Agito and Yayoi. Now, some of you are going to think this is totally pointless, but I feel like ranting anyway. Back on topic, Agito is such a cool character, he's the most popular in the series. In volume six of the manga, he came in first in the character popularity poll. Yayoi, on the other hand, came in dead last.

What gets me, is why O!G wants to pair up these two. Yayoi has very little action in the manga, he never even gave her a character profile, and she's not that popular or useful to the team. In fact, up until the recent chapters, she was almost non-existent.

Personality wise/Character Description:
Agito is cold. He's vicious, he's not that social, and he's sort of punk/gothy in the way he dresses. He's got a split personality, the other half being attracted to the main character, who happens to be male. He's the most knowledgeable member on the team, not to mention one of, if not, the strongest riders. He came in first in the popularity poll and almost everybody says he's a favorite character from the series.

Yayoi is... Well, a prep. She wears preppy clothes, she's a ditz, she stands around and does nothing except follow the team around like a fangirl. Even Emily took up ATs and helped the team in the battle against the White Wolves Clan. Yayoi couldn't even do that. At first, she didn't even like the team. She's got small beady eyes, a long face, and it quite plain and rather boring. She came in last in the popularity poll, and not many people seem to like her or mention her. She's shrewd and sneaky, taking advantage of Agito when he was unconscious to tie him up and take him on a boat tour of some stupid lake. If you really do like someone, is that really how you should go about it?

So why, now, does O!G suddenly go and throw this out into the open? She's never had any interaction with Agito at all except for the time when he was in the hospital, she offered him juice. There's nothing between them, and Agito doesn't even seem interested in her, or anyone for that matter. And now, O!G is rushing through things to pair them up, and to top it all off, he's given Agito/Akito a third personality which is completely different from the other two. And apparently now, in the newest chapter (194), She kisses him. Like seriously, where did that come from? First she takes advantage of him, and now she kisses him when they're not even in a relationship?

I really just don't like Yayoi's character at all. I feel there are other characters in the series who would be better suited for Agito, but maybe that's just me.

I don't know, I'm just finding that Oh! Great is losing his touch, and it makes me kind of sad. Air Gear is my favorite series and now that this is happening, it's like a slap in the face. And it hurts. I had so much praise for this series and now O!G is ruining it by pulling random pairings out of places and rushing to get to them.

I've talked to several other people like myself who are against this pairing and want it stopped. We don't want her paired with Agito, Akito, OR Rindo. Not one of them.
