On the night of 30/01/18 on the eve of a very auspicious Hindu festival .. bulls were used to pull a chariot through the streets .. Unfortunately the bulls were struggling to do so because the chariot is heavy & it was overloaded with too many people on board the chariot .. Hindus practise & respect non violence to any life form & cows & bulls are especially revered as the sustainers of life akin to a surrogate parent on the surmise that cows provide milk to nurture humans ..
We demand appropriate affirmative action be taken that such cruelty & disregard to any life form be ever repeated again .. appropriate law enforcement be deemed upon the guilty & education of the guilty party be done .. it is absolutely unacceptable that a responsible Hindu organization be allowed to perform such a mindless act. Guidelines MUST be set up on the use of beasts of burden ..
